Motorola Unveils the Project Ara for Future Smartphones
Motorola has announced a new way of thinking about Smartphones, where someone with the phone will not easily out-to-dated. It's called the Project Ara where Smartphones can change the component without changing the base body like the camera, battery or even the screen. The users simply just change the modules of the phone to stay tuned.
"Our goal is to drive a more thoughtful, expressive, and open
relationship between users, developers, and their phones," Motorola mentioned in the company blog.
"To give you the power to decide what your phone does, how it looks,
where and what it's made of, how much it costs, and how long you'll keep
it."
The project plans to invite developers all over the world to create components for the platform in the coming months. It also expects to release an alpha version of a module developers kit this winter.
